Job Title: Physiotherapist Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Physiotherapist Assistant to join our team at Reflex Physiotherapy. As a Physiotherapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The Physiotherapist Assistant will be responsible for assisting physiotherapists in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with various injuries or disabilities. This will include administering tests, instructing patients on test procedures, and recording results. The Physiotherapist Assistant will also be responsible for setting up and dismantling equipment, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and preparing and maintaining supplies.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physiotherapists in the assessment and treatment of patients
  • Administer tests and procedures as directed by physiotherapists
  • Record patient results and progress
  • Set up and dismantle equipment as needed
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Prepare and maintain supplies
  • Maintain clinical and progress reports
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
Work Environment:

The Physiotherapist Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work under pressure.
