Position Title: Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager

Location: GTA Ready-to-Eat meals manufacturing facility

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent, salaried role with a Tuesday to Saturday work schedule

Role Overview:

  • Oversee the FSQA team to uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Establish and uphold HACCP protocols and food safety regulations
  • Evaluate data and trends to foster continuous improvement efforts
  • Prepare for audits and regulatory assessments

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in Biological or Food Sciences
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in high-risk food production
  • Familiarity with food safety frameworks, HACCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities
  • Enthusiasm for food and a commitment to ongoing improvement
