We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
- Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Ensure the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, and adhere to protocols on all assigned shifts.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Effective, compassionate, and supportive interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Statutes.
- Medical Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Clear Criminal Record check.
All staff are required to provide proof of vaccination, adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols, and wear a mask at all times.
