Key Responsibilities- Bathing, Dressing, and Feeding: Ensure the infants and children are clean, dressed, and fed on a regular basis.
- Discipline and Guidance: Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents and provide guidance on personal hygiene and social development.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding the children.
- Environment and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, including a scent-free and non-smoking area.
- Activities and Outings: Organize activities such as games and outings for the children, and prepare them for rest periods.
- Transportation and Errands: Take the children to and from school and to appointments, and assist with homework.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in child care.
- Personal Qualities: Flexibility, initiative, organized, patience, and honesty.
The Child Care Provider will work in a home-based setting, providing care and supervision to infants and children. The work environment is non-smoking and scent-free.
