We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Railside Lounge and Leisure Centre INC. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 3-4 staff members who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Food Quality and Safety
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Standing for extended periods and physically demanding work.
- Personal Qualities
- Efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication.
- Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
