Communitas Supportive Care Society is a charitable organization providing social care services in British Columbia to individuals with disabilities.
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead our financial planning and inspire our people and culture.
The CFO will be an integral part of our executive leadership team, responsible for providing leadership on financial assets, risk management, and financial aspects of our services.
We seek a CFO who can help shape, develop, and deploy our services, leveraging their expertise in business administration, finance, and social services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance
- Develop and implement financial plans and strategies
- Manage financial risks and ensure compliance
- Lead financial planning and budgeting processes
- Collaborate with the executive team to drive business growth
Requirements:
- 5+ years of senior financial management experience
- Alignment with our values and support model for people with disabilities
- Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills
- Non-profit sector experience and social services experience are assets
- Flexibility for evening/weekend work as needed
