About the Role:

Troy Life & Fire Safety is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of system reliability and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform verifications on fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with ULC-S536 and ULC-S537 standards.
  • Complete fire alarm system programming and report any issues or recommendations based on ULC standards.
  • Be available for emergency service calls and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and Troy, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Understand and practice applicable ULC, CSA, and Canadian Electrical codes and standards.
  • Strong PMA/ITM skills are required.

Requirements:

  • CFAA Certification is required.
  • Two years of community college in electronics or equivalent training or work experience is desired.
  • Previous training or experience in fire alarm systems (2+ years) is required.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and organizational skills are essential.
