About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Apex Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, employees, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Assist clients with special needs, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce regulations to maintain order, resolve conflicts, and monitor establishment activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Security Operations: Operate security control room equipment, patrol assigned areas, and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Asset Protection: Prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments, protecting our clients' assets and reducing losses.
  • Transportation and Logistics: Pick up and deliver cash and valuables, ensuring secure transportation and handling of sensitive materials.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, such as fires or medical emergencies, and provide assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in a security-related field, with a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles) and a valid driver's licence.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move objects as needed.
