Job Summary

PALM TRANSPORT is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck to transport goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate a truck as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring the safe transportation of goods and materials.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods, taking care to secure cargo and ensure its safety during transit.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs and respond to unexpected situations.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold an AZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and a minimum of permanent employment.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 60 hours per week.
