Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Northstar Janitorial Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in various locations. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, as well as dusting furniture, vacuuming, and performing light housekeeping duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Dust furniture and fixtures
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change sheets
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Clean and disinfect elevators
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Organized and methodical approach to work
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
