Job Summary

We are looking for a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain small tractors, small-powered equipment, and tow-behind equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and diagnose equipment to identify areas for repair and maintenance
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on small tractors, small-powered equipment, and tow-behind equipment
  • Apply specialized tools and cutting-edge technology to diagnose and complete complex repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge of Turf and John Deere agriculture products
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and capabilities

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with small engine equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of engines, hydraulics, power-trains, and air-conditioning
  • Experience with John Deere and competitive products is an asset
