About the Role

eSMART INNOVATIONS is seeking a highly skilled Power APP Developer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing various Power APP forms to drive data input and reporting packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Systems Development: Design, build, and implement various Power APP forms to drive data input and reporting packages.
  • Database Analysis: Work with various multifaceted databases to analyze and report all aspects of the data.
  • Power APP and BI Dashboards: Create and maintain Power APP and BI dashboards and underlying datasets.
  • Data Validation: Design and implement data validation processes.
  • Dataset Documentation: Create and maintain dataset documentation including requirements, design, and user manuals.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Understand and analyze the data/reporting presented to answer any questions as well as make necessary amendments as required.
  • Automation: Identify and implement ways to automate recurring reports and gradually phase out the use of manual reports and database updates.
  • Automated Reporting: Generate and monitor automated reporting, adding controls and forms.
  • Data Integration: Develop and write accurate and efficient queries to extract and integrate data from multiple database sources.
  • Collaboration: Work with the internal and external business users to perform analysis and reviews on new reporting formats and/or proposed changes to reporting requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in conjunction with other internal teams on collaborative projects, including data analytics initiatives.
Requirements
  • Power APP and.NET: Power APP and.NET and BI Report development in both Cloud Service & On-prem Server.
  • DAX Queries: Should have knowledge to understand/develop/debug complex DAX queries in Power BI.
  • SQL Queries: Should have expert knowledge on SQL queries.
  • Power APP and.NET Admin: Should have Power APP and.NET Admin knowledge.
  • Data Connection: Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
  • Advanced Calculations: Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
  • Row-Level Security: Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
  • Analysis Services: Building Analysis Services reporting models.
  • Visual Reports: Developing visual reports, and dashboards using Power BI desktop & PBI Report Builder.
  • Analytical Thinking: Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.
  • Design Methodology: Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries.
  • Model Development: Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with standards.
Qualifications
  • SQL Server: SQL Server.
  • ASP.NET Framework: Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)).
  • C#.NET: 5 years of development experience using C#.NET.
  • Architecture Styles: Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
  • .NET Languages: Knowledge of at least one of the.NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic.NET) and HTML5/CSS3.
  • DAX, M, PowerShell, and T-SQL: DAX, M, PowerShell, and T-SQL.
  • Power APP, Power BI Dataflows, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio: Power APP, Power BI Dataflows, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio.
  • Power BI Service Architecture Design and Administration: Power BI Service architecture design and administration.
  • Data Modelling: Data modelling using the Kimball methodology.
