About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Assistant to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a Mechanical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our tradespersons and other workers in various tasks and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespersons and other workers with moving tools, equipment, and materials
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
  • Provide support and assistance to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities
  • Provide mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Veterans
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for mature workers
  • Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees
