About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to fill the position of President & Chief Executive Officer at Jack.org. As the chief executive, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing the organization's long-term strategic and annual plans, enhancing current activities, and building upon existing organizational strengths in programming and national representation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the activities and operations of Jack.org, including program design and delivery, revenue generation, public advocacy activities, government and partner relations, and finance and risk management.
  • Actively engage in Jack.org's revenue generation activities, including maintaining a pipeline of active major donors and ensuring new and consistent sources of ongoing funding from external partners.
  • Empower high-performance, mission-driven, and results-oriented teams, and build a culture that embraces innovation and trust as core principles.
  • Nurture young talent and motivate the next generation of leaders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote mental well-being and address the prevalent issue of mental health distress among youth, particularly those systematically excluded from mental health dialogue and action.
Requirements
  • Progressively senior leadership roles from an organization of similar size and complexity.
  • Experience gained at the CEO level and from a non-profit organization or a registered charity with a focus on youth mental health.
  • Excellent communications skills, with the ability to build a culture of trust and credibility both internally and externally.
  • Financial and budgetary expertise, knowledge of governance best practices, and experience in a transformative yet holistic change.
  • Conflict resolution skills and the ability to navigate complex challenges.
  • Depth of knowledge and appreciation of the youth mental health landscape.
