Job Title: Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Coach to join our team at Kelowna Gymnastix. As a Coach, you will be responsible for leading our competitive programs and developing training and practice sessions to help our athletes achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate competitive programs and develop training and practice sessions to help athletes achieve their goals
  • Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games
  • Analyze and evaluate athletes' or team's performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Teach and demonstrate athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a safe and healthy environment for athletes
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other departments and understand principles of group dynamics
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Organized and reliable with excellent communication skills
  • Dental plan and health care plan available
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
