We are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Mechanic to join our team at First Student Shared Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our school buses.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
- Conduct safety inspections and annual MTO maintenance inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist with mobile emergency services and provide support to other maintenance team members as needed.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Holds an S and/or T license.
- Possess a mechanic's tool set.
- Willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
- Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications.
- Additional $.25 per hour for each ASE certification.
