We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Cooks to join our team at Pristine Quality Healthcare Services Corp. in Alberta. As a Cook in our Long Term Care Homes, Retirement facilities, Hospitals, Senior and Home Health Care settings, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and nutrition to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents, adhering to dietary requirements and food safety guidelines.
- Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment, maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Collaborate with our Quality Management Team to implement and maintain quality food service practices.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance cooking skills and knowledge.
- Red Seal Certification in Cookery.
- Current Food Handler Certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current First Aid Certification.
- Knowledge of correct procedures for service and food handling.
- Great attendance, team playing morals, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
- Reliable, flexible, and professional with a positive attitude.
- Covid vaccinated with three dosages.
- A negative TB result or Chest x-ray (six months).
- Long-term Care experience.
- Full immunization record.
- Above standard wages.
