Join our team at Great Choice Meat and Poultry as a dedicated Meat Processing Specialist. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and presentation of our meat products for our valued customers.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in meat processing is preferred, with a minimum of 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.
- Prepare and clean meats for processing or cutting.
- Fulfill special meat cut requests from customers.
- Execute standard cuts of meat, ensuring quality and precision.
- Package and wrap prepared meats for sale.
- Accurately weigh and price meat products.
- Engage with customers to sell meat products and provide exceptional service.
- Create attractive displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts and other meat products as needed.
- Fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
