About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Tomas the Cook / Specklebellys pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Washing and Sanitizing: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Storage and Organization: Place dishes in storage areas and handle and store cleaning products.
  • Garbage and Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and free of clutter.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • General Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks as required to ensure the kitchen remains in good working order.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
