Job Overview

Mir Transport is seeking dedicated individuals for the position of **Long-Distance Truck Driver**. This role involves transporting goods across various regions while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a team or in a convoy to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Load and unload cargo efficiently and safely.
  • Operate and maneuver straight or articulated trucks for the transportation of materials.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Manage financial transactions related to goods, including payments.
  • Perform necessary brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch to relay important information.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo details, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage.
Qualifications
  • Must possess an **Air Brake (Z) Endorsement**.
  • Valid **Driver's License (Class 1 or A)** is required.
Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset. This position is permanent, with a work schedule of approximately **50 hours per week**. The primary working language is **English**.
