Senior Consultant/Technical Lead, Application Development

Position Overview
The role of Senior Consultant/Technical Lead in Application Delivery involves working within the Data Protection Services Team, part of the Financial Crimes & Enterprise Risk Technology division. This position is crucial for developing solutions that facilitate the secure handling of sensitive data across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Architecture - You will be accountable for the architectural design of Data Protection Services both on-premises and in cloud environments such as Azure. This includes collaborating with various applications that utilize these services through diverse integration methods (e.g., Java SDK, Restful API, Databricks, Database UDF, SFTP). Your role will involve assessing and recommending optimal integration strategies that balance security with user-friendliness.
- Collaboration and Support - Engage with multiple technology and business stakeholders to foster their success by leveraging the data protection services and capabilities developed by your team.
- Strategic Planning - Work in close partnership with Information Security to provide strategic guidance, continuously updating the roadmap for the Data Security domain. This includes collaborating with Data Governance, Enterprise Architecture, and other key stakeholders to enhance the data security services available across the organization.
- Leadership and Mentorship - Serve as the technical lead, interfacing with project teams to provide expertise that ensures project objectives are met. Mentor junior and intermediate team members by sharing knowledge and fostering effective problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Experience - Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following areas:
- Proficient in designing and building Java applications utilizing Maven/OpenShift/AKS, with experience in implementing integrations across various operating systems like Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Minimum of 3 years in a technical lead, designer, or senior consultant capacity, with strong communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders, end-users, and technology teams.
- Prior experience in designing and developing scalable data frameworks using Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
