As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance, repairs, and installations of dental equipment in clinics. Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer calls, diagnose issues, and determine the necessary parts and tools to complete the service request.
- Communicate any unusual problems to the service coordinator after each call.
- Determine the necessary parts, supplies, and tools to complete the service request.
- Ensure that the standard response time established with the service coordinator is met.
- Charge, deliver, install, configure, and train customers on the use and basic maintenance of the equipment sold.
- Use, maintain, and secure test devices and tools used to adjust, calibrate, and repair equipment.
- Complete all required documentation, including work orders, repair tags, and equipment loaner tags.
- Return defective modules or parts to the head office and identify the items.
- Maintain and restock the parts inventory in the truck.
- Perform any other tasks assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma in electronics or relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in field repair work in the dental or medical environment.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Motivated worker with good teamwork and manual skills.
- Knowledge of the MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of SAP software is an asset.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken French.
- Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
