We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician to join our team at R L Clee Contracting Ltd.
Job Summary:The Accounting Technician will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and maintaining financial records.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
- Payroll Processing: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Financial Analysis: Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and prepare financial reports as required.
- Accounting Software: Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks, to manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Communication: Provide excellent oral and written communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
