About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Worker to join our team at Division 2 Environmental Ltd. As a key member of our demolition crew, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient removal of structures and materials from construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings, removing rubble and debris, and cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Site Maintenance: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Environmental Considerations: Assist in duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes, such as reducing waste and minimizing environmental impact.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, but prior experience in demolition or construction is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
