We are a reputable building maintenance company seeking snow removal subcontractors to join our team on a part-time, on-call basis.

Job Summary

We are looking for reliable and physically fit individuals to assist with snow removal services in the Lower Mainland area. As a snow removal subcontractor, you will be responsible for removing snow and ice from properties using a variety of equipment, including shovels, scrapers, chippers, and snow blowers.

Responsibilities
  • Remove snow and ice from properties using a variety of equipment
  • Operate snow blowers and other equipment safely and efficiently
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete snow removal tasks
  • Communicate effectively with clients and GrimeFighters staff
  • Meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (ideally a truck or SUV)
  • Availability to work on short notice, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Cell phone with data plan and willingness to use GrimeFighters' app to track work
  • General Liability Insurance of $2,000,000 (preferred but not required)
  • WorkSafeBC Clearance Letter showing good standing (preferred but not required)
What We Offer
  • Hourly rate of up to $60 per hour for one person and a vehicle
  • Hourly rate of up to $30 per hour for additional crew members
  • 1.5x hourly rate for hours worked on statutory holidays
  • Training provided and paid upfront at up to $30 per hour
What We're Looking For
  • Hardworking and physically fit individuals
  • Availability to work on short notice
  • Comfortable working in cold temperatures
  • Ability to shovel snow for at least 4 hours, but preferably 8 hours or more
