We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Khalsa Welding Toronto Inc.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, reading and interpreting welding blueprints, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to join metal parts together
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the best welding technique
- Examine welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut metal
- Operate metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to prepare metal for welding
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts using welding and metalworking techniques
- Maintain and repair welding equipment to ensure optimal performance
