Position Overview: We are looking for skilled Marketing Insights professionals to join our Oncology Analytics & Insights team, recognized as a leader in the pharmaceutical sector.

The Marketing Research Manager II will be responsible for designing, executing, managing, and analyzing marketing research within the specified therapeutic area(s).

This role involves deriving insights from both primary and secondary research, collaborating with the commercial team to guide decision-making regarding brand strategies and tactics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the marketing research lead for the assigned therapeutic area.
  • Establish strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to therapeutic area leadership, guiding brand strategies based on objective customer insights.
  • Create, maintain, and ensure timely execution of marketing research plans aligned with brand strategy while adapting to changing business needs.
  • Collaborate with and influence the brand team and agency to enhance business outcomes.
  • Inform the brand planning process through a comprehensive understanding of the market, patient journey stages, and stakeholder influences.
  • Actively participate in the creative development process, providing insights for the creative brief and concept development.
  • Maintain organizational knowledge of insights and performance data related to the therapeutic area, including market trends and competitive analysis.
  • Possess a robust understanding of industry secondary data and syndicated sources.
  • Work with Centers of Excellence within the Marketing Analytics and Business Insights department to deliver actionable insights to brand teams and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and ethical guidelines in all marketing research activities.

Qualifications:

  • MBA or MA preferred, with a concentration in marketing research or marketing being a strong advantage.
  • Approximately 8+ years of relevant marketing research experience, including at least 6 years on the client side.
  • Ability to effectively interact and present to all organizational levels, from Product Managers to Senior Executives.
