The role of a Kitchen Helper at DBA Taco Del Mar involves assisting in various culinary tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities- Dish Management: Deliver clean dishes, utensils, and other kitchen items to serving areas and set tables appropriately.
- Dishwashing: Operate dishwashing machines and perform manual washing of dishes, glassware, and utensils.
- Sanitation: Ensure all kitchen items are sanitized and cleaned thoroughly.
- Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finalize simple food items, as well as portion and package take-out meals.
- Stock Management: Organize and stock refrigerators and salad bars with necessary ingredients.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
- Waste Management: Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain cleanliness of floors.
- Vegetable and Fruit Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as required.
- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
- Work Language: Proficiency in English.
- Work Hours: Expected to work between 35 to 40 hours per week.
