About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction General Manager to join our team at 2705517 ONTARIO INC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our construction division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve business objectives.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate human, financial, and material resources to support the implementation of organizational policies and programs.
  • Departmental Management: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Co-ordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Staff Management: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate the necessary authority to them, and create optimum working conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a senior management role in the construction industry.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word, as well as information technology.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and with a large workload.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal awareness, and team player skills.
