About This Role

As a Quality Game Designer at Electronic Arts, you'll play a vital role in shaping the player experience for our captivating games. You'll collaborate closely with development, production, and design teams to ensure that every aspect of the game meets the highest standards of quality and player satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strong relationships with members of the development, production, and design teams to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Champion a superior player experience by actively participating in feature planning, analyzing internal and player data, and providing insightful feedback during design reviews.
  • Conduct thorough game testing, meticulously document bugs, and offer constructive feedback on features to enhance the overall quality of the gaming experience.
  • Oversee the end-to-end review of quality strategies and test plans for your designated area of responsibility.
  • Contribute to identifying technical solutions and automation opportunities to streamline testing processes.
  • Leverage both internal and external data to drive a data-driven, predictable verification strategy.
  • Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the QA teams by refining current processes and workflows.
  • Provide regular progress and status updates through reports or verbal communication with relevant managers, Quality Designers, and team members.

Your Qualifications

  • 2+ years of proven experience in a related field.
  • A genuine passion for Electronic Arts' games, open-world gaming, or soccer, with a player-centric mindset.
  • Experience making data-driven decisions regarding game design and development.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within an integrated product team (Development + QA as one unit).
