Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care and promote patient-centered outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Conduct health education and promotion activities to empower patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice and Competency Profile for Licensed Practical Nurses in Manitoba
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
