Gas Bar Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Gas Bar Attendant at EastHill Esso. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Restock merchandise, clean and maintain the counter area, and ensure a visually appealing store environment.
- Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
- Work with Technology: Operate an Interac machine, price scanner, and computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering system.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Setting: Gas bar environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
- Competitive Hourly Rate: $15-$20 per hour.
