This position, located in Toronto, entails the management of portfolios associated with Property All Risks and High Hazard Equipment Breakdown. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in underwriting intricate risks across sectors such as energy and equipment breakdown.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct a team of Account Executives within a cooperative work setting
  • Provide mentorship and oversee the underwriting process for Property All Risks and Equipment Breakdown
  • Collaborate with various departments within HSB Canada
  • Administer existing insurance portfolios while pursuing new business avenues
  • Establish and nurture relationships with brokers and clients in essential industry sectors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Preferred designations include CRM and CIP
  • Over 8 years of experience in Commercial Property Underwriting
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Competent in MS Suite applications
  • Willingness to travel as required
