We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at 1032455 B.C. LTD. in a permanent position. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies to ensure that our housekeeping department is well-equipped to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate the inspection of assigned areas to ensure that our facilities meet health and safety standards.
  • Supervise staff to ensure that they are performing their duties to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate contract services to ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times.
  • Supervise maintenance and repair services to ensure that our facilities are well-maintained.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that our housekeeping department is well-equipped.
  • Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure that our guests receive clean and fresh linens.
  • Coordinate dry cleaning and valet services to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service.
  • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out at all times.
  • Respond to complaints of guests in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a housekeeping management role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Criminal record check and medical exam.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment.
  • Ability to work in a hotel, motel, or resort setting.
