Position: Automotive Service Technician

At Rocket Trucking Inc., we are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and safety of our fleet.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust, repair, or replace components of commercial transport truck systems.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
  • Repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems as needed.
  • Estimate costs for parts and labor to perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services to ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Document issues and work performed through detailed reports.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification is required.
Transportation Requirements
  • A valid driver's license is necessary for this position.
Work Environment
  • Overtime may be required based on workload.

Employment Type

This is a permanent position with a commitment of 35 to 40 hours per week.
