About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at Pyramid Development Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered with tiles, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Mortar and Adhesive Application: Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowels, guaranteeing a strong and durable bond.
  • Tile Installation: Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base, ensuring a level and even surface.
  • Tile Alignment and Cutting: Align and straighten tiles, and cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Grouting and Finishing: Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout, leaving a clean and professional finish.
  • Tile Replacement and Repair: Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, maintaining the integrity and appearance of the installation.
  • Mosaic Tile Installation: Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designs, requiring attention to detail and artistic flair.
  • Marble and Granite Installation: Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite, demanding precision and expertise.
