Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Adult ER - HSC 2 department. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of clerical tasks and act as a communication link for the unit.
  • Assist with the care and comfort of patients, as well as routine domestic tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the area.
Requirements
  • Previous related work experience is preferred.
  • Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, is required.
  • Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant program or equivalent is required.
  • Medical terminology is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Competency in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions, and values is preferred.
