Key Responsibilities- Restore and Refurbish Furniture: Replace worn-out webbing, springs, and other furniture parts to ensure the furniture is safe and functional.
- Lay Out, Cut, Fabricate, and Install Upholstery: Use your expertise to create and install new upholstery, ensuring a perfect fit and finish.
- Tack, Glue, or Sew Ornamental Trim, Braids, or Buttons: Add a touch of elegance to our furniture with intricate trim and embellishments.
- Repair Furniture Frames and Refinish Wood Surfaces: Bring new life to old furniture by repairing and refinishing wood surfaces.
- Operate Sewing Machines or Sew by Hand: Use your sewing skills to create and repair upholstery.
- Garnish the Bottom and the Back of a Seat with Interwoven Rattan: Add a touch of natural beauty to our furniture with interwoven rattan.
- Manual Dexterity: You will need to have excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills to perform tasks such as sewing and upholstery.
- Attention to Detail: Our Upholsterer must have a keen eye for detail to ensure that every piece of furniture is restored to perfection.
- Hand-Eye Coordination: You will need to be able to work with precision and accuracy to complete tasks such as sewing and upholstery.
- Ability to Distinguish Between Colors: You will need to be able to accurately match colors and fabrics to ensure a perfect finish.
- 1 to Less Than 7 Months: We are looking for an Upholsterer with some experience in the field, but we are open to training the right candidate.
