About the Role

The Maintenance Millwright is a key member of our team at PepsiCo Beverages Canada, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize production workflows.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our production processes and equipment to identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our equipment and processes remain state-of-the-art.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a Certified Industrial Mechanic Millwright certification or completion of an Industrial Mechanic Millwright apprenticeship.
  • Class 4 Power Engineer Certificate is an asset (PepsiCo will provide training courses).
  • Strong knowledge of machine control systems, safety control systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments.
