Job Title: Account Receivable Specialist

This role is responsible for ensuring Dehumidified Air Solutions receives timely payment for goods and services. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build expertise in financial systems, ensuring effective invoicing and payment collection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Systems Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of Dehumidified Air Solutions' organization, customers, receivables, and cash application processes.
  • Payment Resolution: Negotiate and resolve outstanding past due invoices, and timely resolve billing/shipping discrepancies that delay payments.
  • Credit Control and Risk Management: Work with internal and external parties to ensure timely payment, credit control, and risk management.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform data-driven analysis to identify and resolve issues affecting cash flow and receivables.
  • AR Operations: Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to AR.
  • Bad Debt Management: Assist in reviewing and managing bad debt.
  • Customer Account Reconciliation: Perform customer account reconciliation to ensure accurate statement balances.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and distribute income reports and statistics to key personnel, and recommend process improvements to enhance controls, financial performance, and data reliability.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate or College Degree in Finance/Accounting is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of similar Accounts Receivable experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Language: Bilingual in French and English.
