Job Summary:

Nutrien is seeking a skilled Backup Operator to join our Mine Operations team in Allan, Saskatchewan, Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the safe and efficient achievement of production targets through the operation of underground mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate underground mining equipment to support production targets
• Perform manual labor tasks, including clean-up, scaling, bolting, and loading/unloading supplies and equipment
• Work safely in a mining environment and follow established procedures and policies
• Participate in safety meetings and inspections
• Work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
• Stable work record
• Willingness to learn and gain knowledge and experience through training
• Ability to interact positively with coworkers and supervisors
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Initiative in safety and performance objectives
• Skills in documentation and electronic reporting
