IT Systems Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, deploy, and sustain IT systems to guarantee optimal performance and dependability.
  • Supervise and enhance on-site servers, networking devices, and data storage solutions across various locations.
  • Administer cloud platforms, including Azure and M365, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead the technical support team to ensure prompt and effective resolution of IT-related challenges.
  • Formulate and enforce support policies and procedures to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and uphold cybersecurity protocols to safeguard the organization's information and systems.
  • Perform routine security evaluations and audits to detect and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee building security systems and vendor relationships, including surveillance cameras, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Mentor and develop the IT systems team, promoting a collaborative and service-focused culture.
  • Manage financial resources, procurement processes, and vendor partnerships related to IT systems.
  • Formulate and implement long-term strategies for IT systems to support the organization's mission.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry developments to propose enhancements and innovations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience (7+ years) in IT systems management, particularly in cloud services, on-premise servers, and cybersecurity.
  • Profound knowledge of Azure, M365, networking, and server administration.
  • Proven track record in managing technical support operations and team leadership.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
  • Experience in leading disaster recovery and business continuity planning initiatives.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage intricate projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, leading both internal and external technical teams.
