Job Title: French & Spanish Teacher/Tutor

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate French and Spanish teacher/tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position that requires working during after-school and evening hours, as well as some Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spoken and written French, Spanish, and English, and be comfortable teaching up to a Grade 9 level, with a preference for Grade 12.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach French and Spanish to students of various ages and skill levels
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • BC Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades K-7 French core curriculum
