Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Bookkeeping: Perform bookkeeping tasks, including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare tax returns for clients and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Certifications: Required certifications in accounting, such as the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) designation.
