Your Role
As a Model Validation Specialist, you will be instrumental in the independent assessment and critique of the internal economic capital model used in Canada. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Communicating validation findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Providing expert technical guidance to your team.

What We Seek
To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, data science, or actuarial sciences.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in modeling.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and a solid understanding of mathematical methodologies.
  • Experience with economic capital models is advantageous.
  • A proactive attitude, efficiency, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and VBA, along with familiarity in Python and SQL.
