Registered Psychiatric Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our interprofessional care team, you will provide treatment and care management services to individuals with mental illness and concurrent disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centered and recovery-oriented care to clients with mental health and substance use issues
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Conduct mental health assessments, administer prescribed medications, and monitor client response to treatment
- Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health and substance use issues
- Participate in research and quality improvement activities to improve client care
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
- Two years recent experience providing treatment services to individuals with mental health and/or concurrent disorders
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
