Position Overview: As a Junior Automotive Service Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional tire services either at our retail locations or through our mobile service unit.
Service Options: Customers can choose to book appointments at one of our Fountain Tire stores or opt for our convenient mobile service that brings our expertise directly to their location.
Service Location Requirements: Our services are to be conducted on properties where you have ownership or have received explicit permission from the property owner for light vehicle maintenance.
Important Terms: By proceeding, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the terms of service outlined below.
Mobile Service Highlights: Fountain Tire's Mobile Service provides the flexibility of performing select tire services at your preferred location. When scheduling an appointment, please ensure you understand the following:
- Onsite Presence: You or an authorized representative must be present during the service to meet our technician and approve the work to be done.
- Vehicle Accessibility: The vehicle must be positioned on level ground with a minimum of 2 meters (6 feet) of space on both sides. Our service vehicle should be able to park within 15 meters (50 feet) of your vehicle, requiring a vertical clearance of 2.8 meters (9 feet, 2 inches).
- Property Usage: All work must be performed on private property. For commercial or multi-unit complexes, it is your responsibility to secure permission for service.
- Customer-Provided Tires: Ensure that any tires or wheels are placed in an easily accessible location, ideally within 3 meters (10 feet) of the vehicle.
- Wheel Lock Placement: If your vehicle is equipped with a wheel lock, please keep it in the cupholder or center console for easy access.
- Work Environment: The area where the service is to be performed must be free of debris, ice, or snow. Appointments may be rescheduled at the technician's discretion due to unsafe weather or working conditions.
- Cancellation Policy: If an appointment is rescheduled or canceled after 8:00 am on the day of service, or if the vehicle and/or representative is not present within 15 minutes of the technician's arrival, a service call fee of $189 will be charged.
If mobile services are unavailable in your area, please consider scheduling an in-store appointment.
Additional Services: We also offer seasonal tire changes and new tire installations. Please confirm whether your tires are mounted on wheels/rims and if you will be storing your tires with us.
Booking Information: If you currently have an appointment being processed, please be aware that any changes to your selection may result in the cancellation of your booking.
Vehicle Compatibility: Ensure that the selected tires and wheels match the manufacturer's recommendations for your vehicle to avoid safety hazards.
