Job Title: Heavy-Duty Equipment Operators Foreman/Woman

A & A EXCAVATING LTD. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy-Duty Equipment Operators Foreman/Woman to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to oversee the operation of heavy-duty equipment on our construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating work activities, resolving problems, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Read blueprints and drawings
  • Requisition materials and supplies
  • Supervise workers and projects
  • Train or arrange for training
  • Assign personnel to equipment and routes and schedule work shifts
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment operation and supervision
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
Working Conditions:
  • Work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
