Key Responsibilities- Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the primary expert on non-routine transactions, such as business acquisitions, joint ventures, and complex accounting treatments.
- Contract Analysis and Documentation: Provide expert analysis and documentation for contract-related transactions and events.
- Finance Business Partner: Serve as a finance business partner for specific business units, preparing monthly financial analysis to evaluate their performance.
- Strategic Financial Analysis: Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis for management, highlighting key observations and presenting findings.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our accounting processes.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Professional Designation: Professional accounting designation (CPA) is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of six years of relevant experience in IFRS accounting.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to provide recommendations.
- Language: Bilingual (French and English).
