About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Site Developer to join our team at Sixteen Nine Enterprises Inc. as a key member of our digital platform development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly web applications using a variety of programming languages and software tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring that it is efficient, scalable, and secure.
  • Work closely with designers to ensure that the visual design of the website aligns with the company's brand and messaging.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure that the code meets the company's standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for the web applications, including user manuals and technical guides.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve any issues that arise during testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security patches and updates for the web applications.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in web development, with a focus on front-end development.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end development tools.
  • Experience with back-end development using languages such as PHP, Python, or Ruby.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with database management systems such as MySQL.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
